The 2017 GAA National Club Draw will take place in Croke Park tomorrow, Wednesday March 8, at 3pm.
In the region of €1.5 Million has been raised through the draw with all funds retained by the clubs who took part in it.
This is the fourth year of the National Club Draw and in that time over €7 Million has been raised by the clubs.
The sole purpose of the draw is to assist clubs in their drive to raise much needed funds to aid in the development and promotion of our games.
Clubs have the opportunity to raise up to €20,000, each club retains all the proceeds from the tickets sold by their club, and all prizes are provided by Ard Chomhairle.
There will be a total of 14 prizes in tomorrow's main draw, the top prize of which is a new Opel Corsa car.
There will also be a specific draw for all clubs who record, account for and sell a minimum of 200 tickets. The three overall prize winners will win €5,000 each, while 32 more clubs will win €1,000 each.
There is also a €1,000 prize for the clubs that sold most tickets in each of their provinces. For the second year in a row, Davitts of Mayo and Na Fianna of Dublin have come out on top in Connacht and Leinster respectively.
Davitts sold 1426 tickets, netting €14,260 for their club. Na Fianna sold 1660 tickets, which earned them €16,600.
Kerry club Kilcummin were tops in Munster with a sale of 1079 tickets netting them €10,790. While Donegal's Naomh Mhuire Convoy had the highest sales in Ulster with 1700 tickets sold, which earned them €17,000 for their club
