North Antrim will be running a course in the near future For ' Young Whis tlers'
we would like to encourage 2 young people from our club to attend this course.
I deally they should be 16 or over.
Refereeing is a very important role within the G AA, However there i s currently a severe lack of numbers taking up this role.
Of course being a referee can be a frustrating at times but it can also be very rewarding.
There are excellent opportunities for referees from Antrim and many have had the honour of taking charge of top county game s including All-Ireland Finals .
Tommy Mc Intyre will facilitate this course and Tommy Himself gave great refereeing service for many years and was very highly regarded in this field . Tommy will provide excellent knowledge and be able to guide any young person who would like to find out more about this very responsible job.
