U12 Camogiers Head
to Camán to Croker 2015
Loughgiel U12 girls are excited for their trip to Croke Park on Tuesday 7th July where they will be among 64 clubs and 1150 players who will play on the pitch over the course of the day. This is a participation based blitz and the games are about FUN and LEARNING - no medals or cups will be awarded.
The following is some information for those travelling with the team:
Parents, children and supporters are welcome to attend, entry is free of charge and access is via St Joseph’s Avenue off Clonliffe Road. Supporters must stay in the designated areas in The Cusack Stand and will not be allowed on the pitch at any time. Bus Car Parking is at the back of the Cusack stand. For those travelling by car - parking is on a first come first served basis at the back of Jury’s hotel and is free of charge
The pitch will be divided into 4 Go-Games pitches with 12 players per team. Three subs can be used per game, and the other subs must remain in the stand. Clubs will be grouped in 4's and each team will play three 12 minute matches (no half-time). Games will be played under the Go-Games ethos and the score will not be kept. Referees will not time matches as they will be blown up on time over the PA system.
