This Sunday Fr Healy Park Loughgiel plays host to NWP Recycling Ulster Senior Camogie Championship, when Antrim take on Derry in their semi-final match. Throw in is at 2.30pm.
ADM £5, concession £3
Loughgiel have 8 girls on the Senior County panel – Emma Connolly, Emma McMullan, Una McNaughton, Lucia McNaughton, Laura Connolly, Charlene Hamill, Joanne Campbell and Chloe Higgins. Antrim has had some promising performances in the National League Campaign to date this season, beating Westmeath, and being extremely unlucky to lose to Galway by a point and Wexford by 2 points. Derry are the current Ulster Senior Champions – having completed a three-in-a-row last year. Antrim aim to break Derry’s unbeaten run in Ulster and it looks set to be a great contest.
There will also be 3 half-time 9-a-side mini-games, featuring 6 Antrim camogie clubs: Loughgiel, Carnlough, Loch Mor Dal gClais, Dunloy, Rossa & Cushendall.
There will be collection buckets circulating in the grounds before the match and at half-time. These are for anyone who would like to make a voluntary contribution to THE CORMAC TRUST, who have provided the Antrim Camogie teams with a portable defibrillator this season. Any donation no matter how small will be very welcome.
Come along and support the girls!!!
