Further information regarding Loughgiel Fun Day 2013
Saturday 9th November
TIMES ARE CRUCIAL SO PLEASE ALLOW ENOUGH TIME FOR REGISTRATION!
8am registration opens
9.15am 5km fun run registration ends
9.30am 5km fun run start
9.45am 10km and Big Yin registration ends
10am 10km and Big Yin start
10.45am 10mile TT registration ends
11am 10 mile TT and Big Yin starts at 1 min intervals
Lunch for all at 12.30 followed by presentation of prizes
The make up of the different competition categories are as below:
5km: 1st male, 1st female
10km: open male, open female, vet male, vet female
Cycle Time trial: open male, open female, vet male, vet female
Combined Events:
Big Yin: (10km and time trial) open male, open female, vet male, vet female.
Team Big Yin: (1 runner and 1 cyclist) 1 winner
Team Time Trial: min of 5 cyclists, max 10 – average time of your best 5 cyclists.
The event is covered by insurance but everyone taking part does so at their own risk.
The roads are open to everyday traffic and the rules of the road apply.
We have all necessary safety plans in place and marshal’s will be in attendance to direct you
