REgards your mentoring issue.
I was a mentor along with others and did it to 100 % and I have had parents and individuals comment on that issue. So for Club first to sit and go on about ..........................

guestbook is not for criticising others - it is for constructive points of views and people should try and put their names to the posts as it is easy to stay anonymous

Regards the camogie posts as there is no availability in the camogie website. My post was not critising anyone on the mentoring as you so put it that they are partaking in - I asked about when the under age was going to be sorted out as I have a child in this age group who could be competing in the St Endas blitz if the club had everything sorted out - if it is not sorted out these girls will miss out - the boys would not miss out. There was no mention of shouting or abusing mentors. And as a parent at under age camogie - I never had to say anything to any underage mentor within our club as all was done fairly and good for the girls. I could not fault them. So get your facts right and read the posts correctly.

regarding the mentoring situation within the camogie club i agree that the individuals involved need to be strong, it is somewhat disappointing to hear supposed supporters criticising new mentoring teams, not much in the spirit of the GAA displayed, as for the language involved on occasions at the sidelines in both underage and juvenile matches ( hurling and camogie)parents would need to lead by example as the expletives used and directed at mentors is nothing short of disgraceful. I for one cannot understand such vulgarity within our national game, language common to the football hooligan element. Perhaps these people would like to step up and undertake the vacancies since their expertise is immense. If you can help put your name forward, but do so for the club not self interest and if you cannot then support those who give up a lot of time to work with our young people, your children and our clubs future

I agree everyone is entitled to their opinions but mentors cannot be picked out of the sky, if you do know anyone who is interested, or perhaps yourselves it might be an idea to put your name forward to get the club rolling.
