Hard luck to the minor hurlers last night against St Johns use gave it everything use had. But to play an under age championship match at that time of night under those conditions is simply ridiculous! It was almost impossible to see the ball!

I would like to commend the committee on this really brave stance to address an issue that has always been there but no one has been brave enough to tackle it head on.
We have all read the notices previously posted on the website by the committee before and the signs at the pitch - but this is the strongest message to date. I hope the committee follow through on this - the sooner abusive supporters are weeded out the better!

It will take everyone to help with this. Only thing shouted from the side should be encouragement.

the fact that children are being asked to bring £1 each to this is ridiculous.......edited!
We are not for putting any more of your post on as it is silly, and you obviously have no idea of the costs of running a club

Why wasn't there any mention of the change of day for the matches due to be played Sunday but held on Saturday on Facebook or club webpage???? I spoke to many who did not know of the change and missed out.
Not sure what happened, things are normally put up very quickly, all we can do is apologise.

omg did someone really ask what the £1 for the "winker masterclass was for", It is unreal that our children only pay £5 for membership each year, less than one packet of cigarettes and with the brillant facilities we have I think it is a privledge for my son to play for this club. As for the master class it is another chance for our kids to play hurling with one of the greatest players we have ever had. Thank you Winker for this great class

Can I ask what the £1 charge for the masterclass is for. this is the first time I have had to pay for my son going to the field. i thought his membership covered that? Will he have to pay for future coaching sessions?
All membership costs are currently being reviewed as cost to run our club are steadily increasing. Certainly a membership cost of £5 for a junior is not expensive for the ability to use the pitches and be covered under insurance when you compare this to leisure centre costs. This issue has been discussed recently at a members meeting and a proposal for new costs to be made at our AGM later in the year.
